Update October 9, 2011 I had the pleasure of meeting artist Marquis Leo who creates original works of art on ceramic tile that can be framed as wall art, or used as wall tiles in bathrooms and kitchens, or can be used as floor tiles, or tiles anywhere inside or outside your home. He creates portraits, landscapes, original art of birds and flowers -- anything -- and puts it on high quality ceramic tiles that you can use just as you would other commercially produced tile.

Some of his unique tile art has been used for custom kitchens or for custom bathrooms or around pools and spas. Portraits have been created on tile and the tile portraits are framed and used as wall art. His unique tile artwork has also been used for accent pieces and for flooring. And smaller ceramic art tiles are used as coasters in bars and for kitchen decor.

Marquis Leo is based in Palm Desert, California near Palm Springs and sometimes appears at local art festivals.
