THE HELP GROUP RESALE BOUTIQUE IN CULVER CITY
Update March 6, 2011 The Help Group's new boutique is called Silverlining, and this resale
boutique is adjacent to its Culver City Campus. Silverlining offers new and gently used fashionable and designer clothing,
shoes and accessories for women, men and children and at the same time the boutique serves as an innovative vocational training
center for students with social and communication disabilities including autism and other related disorders. So when
you shop here you are going to be doing a lot of good for others as well as for yourself because this invaluable work experience
is designed to enable students to increase their level of independence and self-confidence and develop the life skills and
tools they need to secure employment.
The Silverlining resale boutique is
at 12095 Washington Boulevard, Los Angeles 90066. The store is open Tuesday through Saturday from noon until 7-PM.
Generous donations were made to the organization by American Rag, Disney/ABC Television Group, Ed Hardy Shoes and Pumpkinhead,
as well as from individuals in the community. The store has a lot of wonderful jewelry, handbags and designer
labels.
The Help Group serves children with special needs related to autism
spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, mental retardation, abuse and emotional
problems.
